The Humsafar page on Facebook reveals thousands of European and North American fans and viewers, with many saying they've never watched a Pakistani drama but are completely hooked on Humsafar.[10] Many have praised the acting, particularly the roles Fawad Afzal Khan and Mahira Khan, as being outstanding with regards to character growth and emotion. In addition, it has become the most watched drama in Pakistani media history.[11]
HUM TV never officially released the TRPs, but as per sources (TVKahani) the last episode created record by recording a TRP of 13.8. The show averaged trp of 9.5-11 during the run.
It also got critical acclaim and received 4.5 stars on TVKahani. The chemistry between the lead pair and the direction by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat were appreciated the most.

Dil e Muztar (or Dil e Muzter) (Urdu: دلِ مضطر‎) is a 2013 Pakistani drama serial based on the love triangle story between Sila, Adil, and Zoya.[1] Serial is broadcasting on Hum TV, first aired on February 23, 2013. It is directed by Shahzad Kashmiri and written by Aliya Bukhari, casting Imran Abbas Naqvi, Sanam Jung, Sarwat Gilani, Shakeel and Saba Hameed.[2]


Qaid-e-Tanhai (Urdu: قید تنہائی ‎) is a Pakistani drama serial that aired on Hum TV from October 22, 2010 to March 18, 2011. It was written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Babar Javed. The drama was produced by A & B Productions.






Dastaan (Urdu: داستان‎) (English: Story) is a Pakistani drama serial dramatized by Sameera Fazal, and based on the novel Bano, by Razia Butt.[1] It is based on the independence of Pakistan, and takes place between 1947 and 1956. The drama depicts the story of Bano, a girl from a close knit Muslim family living in Ludhiana (located in the state of Punjab) in the pre-1947 era. The story follows Bano and her fianceè, Hassan, as they face the trials and tribulations caused by the 1947 independence.
Dastaan is the first project of its kind taken up by the Pakistani media. Director Haissam Hussain stated in an interview [2] that production for the drama began months in advance, and that the filming itself only took a little over two months. The show was broadcast on Hum TV.


Zindagi Gulzar Hai first averaged 6.4 TRPs per episode. However ratings later increased, usually topping the charts every week. Then after the marriage of the protagonists, ratings further increased. On 3 May 2013, Zindagi Gulzar Hai achieved 8.7 TRPs as declared by Hum TV. It was expected to score high ratings for the finale. And it did by reaching a point till 9.5.

The show revolves around the story narrated by Kashaf Murtaza (Sanam Saeed), who lives with her mother Rafia Murtaza (Samina Peerzada), who is separated from her husband Murtaza (Waseem Abbas) because she didn't fulfill his desire of having a son. Murtaza married another woman, who did eventually give birth to his son. Rafia supports herself and her three daughters by herself and is the principal of a government school. Kashaf, her eldest daughter, is accepted into a well-known university and is offered a scholarship. At this university, she meets Zaroon Junaid (Fawad Afzal Khan). The two have many arguments, since Zaroon is jealous of Kashaf because he has always been the best from among his peers while Kashaf repeatedly comes first in every class. Zaroon comes from a rich family consisting of his lax and patient father, an independent, attitude-filled mother (who doesn't give much time to her family due to her work) and his sister Sara(Ayesha Omar). Sara is just like her mother; she is initially engaged to and later marries Farhan but their marriage falls apart because Sara is not willing to compromise and Farhan isn't happy with a stubborn wife.
 Kashaf and Zaroon had their baby girls and they had a lively life with a lot of excitement and love. They have a complete family.
